RN / LPN – Part-Time & Full-Time (Evening Shift)
Position Overview
We are currently hiring RNs and LPNs who are passionate about providing quality long-term care. As a nurse at Sacred Heart Care Center, you will play a vital role in delivering and supervising care, ensuring resident dignity, and promoting a collaborative and respectful team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders
- Accurately administer and document medications and treatments, including PRNs
- Supervise and evaluate care provided by Nursing Assistants (NARs)
- Complete assessments: skin, pain, vital signs, transfers, etc.
- Document resident status, care provided, and incidents clearly and accurately
- Participate in shift reports, audits, care planning, and quality improvement projects
- Maintain proper infection control and safety protocols
- Respond to call lights, emergencies, and ensure resident needs are met promptly
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and physicians
- Ensure medication storage, narcotic counts, and med cart organization follow policy
- Monitor and adjust staffing, assist across units as needed
Qualifications
- Current RN/LPN license in the State of Minnesota
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
- Dependability, punctuality, and a commitment to compassionate care
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Experience in long-term care preferred

Dietary Cook – Sacred Heart Care Center
Austin, MN | Part-Time
Sacred Heart Care Center is a nonprofit senior care community committed to providing respectful, high‑quality care to residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living, and Adult Day programs. We are looking for a dependable, team‑focused Dietary Aide to join our Dining Services department.
Position Overview
The Dietary Cook prepares and serves meals while supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for residents. This role follows menus and prescribed diet orders to ensure meals meet nutritional standards and individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes
- Modify meals to meet special diet orders
- Ensure proper portioning, temperature control, and food presentation
- Coordinate meal service and assist with tray assembly as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow all sanitation and food safety regulations
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering and storage procedures
- Provide respectful service to residents and collaborate with the dietary team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Ability to follow recipes, menus, and diet requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable with good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous cooking experience in food service preferred
